Brian Santero, a student of the Curtis Institute of Music, has performed as a solo trombonist as well as a chamber and orchestral musician throughout the Eastern United States. He currently holds the position of Principal Trombone of Symphony in C, performing in Camden, NJ. He also performs regularly with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Opera Theater, and Chamber Orchestra.

In recent news (at least until this site is updated again) he was invited as a fellow of Music Academy of the West and the Tanglewood Music Center. Brian is also selected as a finalist in three of International Trombone Festival 2011's solo competitions: the ITA Alto Competition, Larry Wiehe Competition, and Robert Marsteller competition. This summer he will perform at ITF in Nashville, TN and then head to the beaches of Santa Barbara to perform with the Music Academy of the West.

Brian's teachers include Nitzan Haroz of the Philadelphia Orchestra, James Markey of the New York Philharmonic, and Norman Bolter, formerly of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Other influential teachers of his include Paul Bellino and Michael Boschen.
